What data do we process?
When you use the website, we may receive your name, email address, company name, event or booking details, vehicle or competitor details, payment and ticket references, and competition results.
Purposes and legal basis
We use data to manage registrations and bookings, verify payments, send tickets and QR codes, contact customers and organise competitions or rides. Processing is based on performing a contract or taking steps before entering into a contract, a legal obligation and, where necessary, consent.
Results necessary for organising competitions may appear on the public results page. We send separate promotional messages only where there is an appropriate legal basis.
Payment and service providers
We use Montonio for payments. The payment provider processes payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. Our system does not store bank card details.
Retention
We retain data for as long as necessary to service a booking, registration or ticket, fulfil legal obligations or defend legal claims. When there is no longer a basis for retention, data is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses technically necessary session data and stores your language preference. Dismissing the cookie notice is recorded in your browser’s local storage under cookie_consent_v1. The website currently does not use advertising cookies or Google Analytics cookies.
When opening external services such as YouTube or Google Maps, those providers may use their own cookies under their own terms.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, and object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
